WPSD is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural Patriot Ambassadors program at the Penn Wood Ninth Grade Academy. This innovative initiative empowers students to reach their full potential, focusing on key personal and community development areas.

The Patriot Ambassadors program aims to cultivate well-rounded individuals by emphasizing the following:

• Advocacy Skills: Equipping students with the tools to communicate and champion their beliefs effectively.
• Leadership: Fostering the development of strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire others.
• Community: Encouraging active participation and contribution to the school and broader community.
• Mentorship: Providing students with valuable guidance and support from dedicated staff mentors.

The program pairs selected student ambassadors with dedicated teacher and staff mentors who have volunteered their time to guide and support them.
