Lansdowne, PA – April 29, 2025

At the April 28 Board Business meeting, the William Penn School District proudly unveiled its new five-year strategic plan, Focus Forward and Beyond. The launch presentation included an overview of the strategic framework and a debut of the district’s video highlighting the plan.

The plan is built around three key priorities:

Academic Excellence
Continually develop instructional programming that promotes growth and achievement for all students.

Cohesiveness
Partner with families, communities, and external organizations to foster shared ownership of schools and collectively create opportunities for student success.

Efficiency and Effectiveness
Demonstrate financial accountability and resourcefulness with an ethic of care for students, staff, and community.

The launch also introduced the Portrait of a Graduate, a student-centered vision that defines the skills and mindsets every William Penn graduate should possess to succeed in school, career, and life.
