ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified. Get started today!
A Future-Focused Approach to Education
We strive to provide a 21st Century, relevant, and standards-aligned curriculum on the belief that all children can learn, that students share responsibility for their own learning, and that students must develop adaptive skills to succeed in the diverse and changing global society awaiting them after graduation.

Ms. King’s Real Estate class at Penn Wood High School recently welcomed guest speaker Ms. Keesha White, owner and founder of Quick Abstract, LLC.
Ms. White spoke to students about the concept of home title ownership, explaining it as the legal ownership of property, similar to a car title. The session was interactive, with students actively engaged and receiving gift prizes.
The class is new this year, and the visit was part of their learning experience about the real estate industry, specifically the title side of transactions.

October was National Principals Month, and we took time to recognize the incredible leaders who guide our schools every day. During the Leadership Team meeting on October 30, our principals were welcomed with a heartfelt celebration of gratitude and joy.
Each principal received a collection of cards, drawings, and notes from students and staff. These messages sparked big smiles, laughter, and even a few happy tears. They enjoyed lunch together and a mini bundt cake treat, followed by a surprise video filled with sweet messages from students across our schools.
Thank you to you our principals. We appreciate you!
Congratulations to Mr. William Kosinski, social studies teacher at Penn Wood Middle School, who is the winner of the Season 3, Episode 2 contest for What Do You Say? With Dr. Eric J.
This month, listeners were asked: “What is one small effort you do every day that helps you succeed?” A winner was selected at random to receive a $10 gift card to get some delicious treats at My Old Place Bakery in Lansdowne.
Thank you to everyone who shared thoughtful responses. A few themes emerged from the entries:
- Handwriting daily to-do lists and enjoying checking items off
- Listening to something uplifting or motivating each day
- Staying organized by keeping a calendar or schedule
- Remembering your “why” when things get challenging
- Preparing for the day ahead by waking up early, stretching, or organizing materials
- Committing to showing up and giving your best effort
- Practicing empathy by imagining yourself in another person’s place
- Reflecting at the end of the day on what went well and what could improve
- Making the bed in the morning to set a purposeful tone for the day
These small actions, taken consistently, reflect what many of us value: being intentional, being prepared, and staying connected to our purpose.
We encourage you to listen to the episode, if you haven`t already, at the link below and tune in each month as What Do You Say? With Dr. Eric J. continues to highlight voices and stories from across the William Penn School District.

October’s Portrait of a Graduate focus was Driven Achiever, and our students showed us what determination looks like!
Some of our schools recognized students who set goals, worked hard, and kept going, even when things got challenging. We are proud of the many ways our students grow and shine, at every grade level, in their own way. The Portrait of a Graduate is a journey from K–12, and every step counts. 🌟
