The Community Foundation (TCF) has announced the recipients of its 2024 scholarships from the Donor Advised and Field of Interest Scholarship Funds.

The Arthur and Christine Burgee Scholarship, managed by The Philadelphia Foundation and administered by TCF, has awarded its scholarship to Alexander Miller from Penn Wood High School, class of 2024. This scholarship supports recipients throughout their undergraduate education. Returning scholars include Mikhaidia Miller and Bryan Thelisma.

The Jim and Elizabeth Mellon Scholarship Fund granted its scholarship to Adetola Ade-Oyetayo, also from the Penn Wood High School class of 2024. This award recognizes students who demonstrate financial need and possess leadership skills, allowing them to attend either a two—or four-year college or a technical school.

These scholarships reflect TCF’s commitment to supporting education and fostering leadership within the community.
