Principal’s Message

January 2025

Dear Ardmore Avenue Elementary School Families and Community,

Happy New Year & welcome back! The long winter break gave us time to recharge our batteries and we look forward to this new year with anticipation and excitement .  We hope the winter break brought opportunities to create memorable moments for your family.

As we embark on a new year, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support and dedication to AAES. I am committed to working in partnership with our staff, students and families in continuously building a community of life-long learners, who are focused on leading purpose-driven lives.

Our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students remains our number one priority.  We will continue to prioritize their well-being and academic growth, ensuring that they have the tools and resources they need to succeed. Collaboration between parents, teachers, and the community will be key in achieving this goal, and I encourage you to actively participate in these efforts.

Parents and community members can get involved by actively participating in various ways. They can become active members of the Home and School Association by attending H&S meetings,  volunteer their time and skills, provide input and feedback, and support fundraising efforts. Additionally, staying informed through AAES’s Wednesday folders and Parent Square can assist everyone with staying connected and engaged in the initiatives.

Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunities that await us in the New Year. We will continue to learn, grow, and support one another as we tackle new challenges together. I eagerly anticipate our return in the New Year, ready to build on our successes and reach new heights.

Principal Smith
