Principal’s Message

Greetings Bulldogs,

Welcome to East Lansdowne Elementary School!

I am honored to serve as the principal of this amazing school. It is with excitement and dedication that I am partnering with parents, faculty and staff, and community stakeholders to raise a standard of excellence in this community.  As we begin our new school year, we are energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of all of our students. It is hard to believe we now have the Class of 2036 in our kindergarten!

At ELES, our goal is to create an environment where courtesy and kindness prevail and where there is respect for differences in other people, customs, and cultures. We want our students to work hard individually and as a community to achieve an environment where everyone feels valued, believes and knows they can be successful.

Our continuing mission is to prepare all students for learning success every day in a caring and safe environment. We will accomplish this mission by setting high academic expectations for all children and providing supportive systems to ensure they are met.

It is our desire to naturally grow children academically, socially, and emotionally through daily best practices, collaboration, and consistency within our building. With a dedicated staff of caring professionals, involved parents, and a supportive community, our school can and will succeed in helping children become critical thinkers, active problem-solvers, inquisitive readers, and proficient writers.

I look forward to getting to know you this school year and many school years to come.

Remember you are loved!
