Principal’s Message

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year.

Walnut Street Elementary, having high expectations and accountability for all, is committed to a continuous learning ethic that promotes student achievement and prepares students to be career and college ready.

We are excited to be back and to serve our students and families. Walnut Elementary is a community of learners supported by a diverse group of staff members. Our goal is to provide educational services for kindergarten through sixth grade. In addition, we support the William Penn School District’s Emotional Support Program and have an established partnership with the Delaware County DCIU in supporting Pre-K learning.

We are guided by the William Penn School District’s Focus Forward Plan and our PBIS mantra R.O.A.R (Respect Ourselves and Others, Overcome Obstacles, Act Responsibly, Remember and Demonstrate Self-Control).

Students will meet success as we all work toward excellence.
