Weather-Related School Decisions
The William Penn School District closely monitors weather conditions that may affect the safety of students and staff. Decisions regarding school closures, delayed openings, or early dismissals prioritize safety and, whenever possible, are announced in advance to allow families and staff time to plan.
District leadership reviews weather forecasts, road conditions, and transportation safety concerns when determining whether to adjust school operations due to inclement weather.
How You Will Be Notified
Weather-related announcements will be shared through the district’s official communication channels:
- ParentSquare (phone calls, text messages, and emails)
- District website

Early Dismissals Due to Weather
