The William Penn School District is proud to announce that our Executive Director of Blended Learning & Educational Technology, Dr. Mary Agnew, has been awarded the 2024 Pennsylvania Chief Technology Officer of the Year Award by the PAECT – PA Association for Education Communications and Technology. Dr. Agnew was recognized by the PAECT Executive Board for being a pioneer and champion of the uses of technology in K12 education through leadership, community building, innovative use of technology, creation of partnerships, and impact on learning.
“Receiving this award is an incredible honor and serves as a testament to the incredible changes that have taken place in our district over the last two years due to the collective efforts of the WPSD IT department and the DCIU,” Dr. Agnew shared.
Dr. Agnew will now represent the entire state of Pennsylvania as the Chief Technology Officer of the Year at the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) National Conference as the candidate for the CoSN Chief Technology Officer – Withrow Award.
