Lansdowne, PA – April 2, 2025

Theta Gamma Tau Sorority, Inc. has announced the creation of a scholarship fund honoring Dr. Kim Evans Johnson, the principal of Bell Ave Elementary School. The sorority will award four $500 scholarships to deserving high school seniors in the local community.

Dr. Evans Johnson has been a valued member of the WPSD community, known for her dedication to student success and unwavering commitment to education. Theta Gamma Tau Sorority, Inc. aims to recognize her contributions by supporting the academic aspirations of graduating seniors.

The scholarship recognizes future female educators residing in the local area. Recipients must demonstrate academic achievement and passion for shaping education.

The deadline for scholarship submissions is April 15, 2025. Interested seniors are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
