Lansdowne, PA – November 7, 2025

The William Penn School District will join schools nationwide in celebrating American Education Week from November 17–21. This annual observance honors the dedication of educators, staff, families, and community members who support student success every day. As part of the celebration, WPSD is inviting students and families to take part in the “My WPSD Favorite” Contest.

Students and families are encouraged to write or draw what they love most about the William Penn School District and submit their entry using the contest canvas and online form. Entries are due by Friday, November 14.

One winner from each school, selected at random, will receive a $25 Amazon gift card, generously provided by the William Penn Education Association (WPEA).

The district is also celebrating with a Spirit Week, featuring special theme days. Each day will highlight the people, strengths, and shared values that make WPSD a caring and connected school community.

Thank you to the many families who have already submitted entries. The district looks forward to seeing more expressions of WPSD pride as we celebrate public education and the positive impact of our schools.
