Lansdowne, PA – February 28, 2025

Penn Wood High School proudly announces that nine football players have been selected for the 2025 Delaware County Hero Bowl. Quarterback Taj Cobbs and receiver Rashon Sanders lead the offensive selections, joined by linemen Malachi Leonard, Khiron Clarke, and Jerry Sirleaf. Defensively, Adriano McLean, James McKnight, Troy Sutton, and Nasir Sherif will represent the Patriots.

The Hero Bowl selects the best senior players from across Delaware County for one final high school football game, honoring fallen first responders and benefiting the Hero Scholarship Fund. The WPSD community is encouraged to support this worthy cause and the players in their final high school football game.

The game will be played on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 6 p.m. at Cardinal O’Hara High School.
