Penn Wood Ninth Grade Academy is proud to announce the 2025–2026 Patriot Ambassadors, a distinguished group of student leaders who embody the values, spirit, and excellence of Penn Wood. Now in its second year, the Patriot Ambassador Program continues to grow as a powerful force for positivity and student leadership within the school community.
Patriot Ambassadors play an essential role in fostering a culture of kindness, accountability, and pride. Throughout the school year, they lead service projects, organize schoolwide initiatives, support community events, and create opportunities that uplift and empower their peers. Their work extends well beyond daily assistance around the building. Ambassadors design and lead anti-bullying and anti-vaping campaigns, participate in leadership workshops, and guide conversations during school town halls to ensure student voices are heard and valued.
Becoming a Patriot Ambassador is an accomplishment that reflects true commitment and character. Students selected for the program complete a rigorous, multi-step process that begins with a written application. Eligible applicants must meet specific requirements for grades, attendance, and behavior and secure a teacher recommendation that speaks to their integrity and work ethic. Finalists then participate in a formal panel interview with the Principal, Dean of Students, School Counselor, and Program Advisor, demonstrating leadership potential, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Every student chosen for this year’s cohort earned their place through maturity, empathy, responsibility, and a genuine dedication to making Penn Wood Ninth Grade Academy a better place for all. Serving as a Patriot Ambassador is both an honor and a meaningful responsibility, and this new group of leaders is already helping to set a positive tone for the remainder of the school year.
