Winter sports at Penn Wood officially begin on November 14, 2025, and all student-athletes must complete their registration and physical requirements before the start of the season.

Students must upload the PIAA Section 6 Pre-Participation Physical Form to Arbiter Registration (FamilyID). Physical exams must be completed by an Authorized Medical Examiner on May 1, 2025, or later to be valid for the 2025–26 school year.

The District will offer $40 physical exams on Thursday, November 6, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Penn Wood High School Green Avenue Campus, Ninth Grade Academy, and Penn Wood Middle School. Student-athletes will be called to the gym by team affiliation. The doctor will visit each building in succession.

Students unable to attend on November 6 may schedule a $40 physical at the Sports Science Center, 166 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA. To schedule, call 610-328-7262 and ensure Sections 5 and 6 are fully completed and signed by both the student and parent before the appointment.

All physicals and registration information must be submitted to Arbiter Registration by November 12, 2025.
