PWHS Life Skills Students to Take the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics PA

Penn Wood High School’s Life Skills students will take part in the Polar Plunge on Friday, February 20, starting at 9 a.m. at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. The event raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics Pennsylvania, supporting athletes of all abilities across the state.

Through their participation, students are demonstrating leadership, service, and a commitment to inclusion while helping expand access to inclusive sports and wellness opportunities for everyone. Special Olympics Pennsylvania supports thousands of athletes across the state through programs that foster confidence, teamwork, friendships, and lifelong skills.
