The DCIU to Host a Secondary Transition Fair

Lansdowne, PA – March 20, 2024

Families of transition-aged students with disabilities in Delaware County are encouraged to attend the DCIU Secondary Transition Fair! This free event, taking place on Tuesday, April 9th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., will connect families with over 40 agencies and community organizations offering valuable resources to help students plan for a successful future.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore options for post-secondary education.
  • Learn about independent living.
  • Discover employment opportunities.

This event is an excellent opportunity for families to gather information and plan for their child’s future. It’s a chance to ask questions, network with service providers, and explore the many resources available to support a smooth transition from high school to adulthood.

 

The DCIU Secondary Transition Fair will be held at DCIU Morton, located at 200 Yale Ave., Morton, PA 19070.
