Lansdowne, PA – January 16, 2024

The William Penn School District will have a district-wide closure for Wednesday, January 17th. All schools and offices will be closed, and all after-school activities and sports will be postponed or canceled.

Due to the current forecast of very cold weather and icy conditions tomorrow morning, the safest choice would have been to have a 2-hour delay, but because we are already scheduled to have a half-day of instruction, this would result in a very short day for students. In the interest of safety for all, the district will be closed.

In regards to transportation, WPSD will not be providing transportation services for all charter, private, and parochial schools tomorrow.
