Lansdowne, PASeptember 10, 2024

William Penn School District proudly announces that Park Lane and Walnut St. Elementary Schools will be honored for their excellence in implementing Tier 1 supports at the 2024 Innovate and Integrate: MTSS & PBIS Advanced Implementation Forum. The event, scheduled for November 13 to November 15 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, PA, celebrates schools that foster positive behaviors and inclusive learning environments.

Park Lane and Walnut St. Elementary Schools will receive recognition for Tier 1 Initial, a commendation that reflects the school’s commitment to the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). These frameworks focus on improving student behavior, reducing disciplinary actions, and increasing academic engagement. The Tier 1 Initial distinction explicitly highlights the school’s success in establishing universal interventions that benefit all students.

The MTSS & PBIS Advanced Implementation Forum is an annual event that brings together educators, administrators, and mental health professionals from across the country. The forum focuses on advanced strategies to integrate MTSS and PBIS frameworks, providing resources and recognition for schools that are leading the way in positive behavioral practices.

Park Lane and Walnut St. Elementary Schools will be recognized alongside other schools’ leadership in fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
