The Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union (FMFCU) Foundation is reaffirming its commitment to education and the invaluable contributions of teachers by inviting nominations for the annual Delaware Valley Excellence in Teaching Award. This prestigious program honors 20 outstanding educators from the region each year, recognizing their dedication, innovation, and impact in the classroom.

Each award recipient will receive $1,000 to support classroom expenses, and their school will also receive a $1,000 grant, making a total of $40,000 awarded to schools and educators.

Nomination forms, detailed information, and requirements can be accessed at FMFCU Foundation’s website. The foundation encourages teachers, principals, colleagues, families, and community members to nominate exceptional educators who make a difference in the lives of their students. Nominations should be submitted by December 20, 2024.

In addition to the Excellence in Teaching Award, the FMFCU Foundation offers other opportunities to support education:

Classroom Mini Grant Program: Provides up to $500 for classroom needs.
Scholarship Programs: Includes the John D. Unangst Scholarship, Delco Hi-Q Scholarship, and Bridge to Success Scholarship.
