Lansdowne, PA – January 21, 2026
The William Penn School District is continuing to work closely with PECO and Aramark to resolve a heating issue at Penn Wood High School-GAC.
Based on the current timeline, Penn Wood High School-GAC will operate on a Flexible Instruction Day on Thursday, January 22. Students will participate in virtual instruction from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
During the instructional day, teachers will post asynchronous assignments in Google Classroom. Students will be required to complete their assigned work for credit, and assignment completion will be used to record attendance. An attendance Google Form will be shared with students by their grade level assistant principals on Thursday morning.
Students will also have access to teachers and staff through virtual office hours from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for additional academic support. Additional details will be shared directly with students through their district email accounts.
