Penn Wood Ninth Grade Academy has released its third-quarter academic results, marking a significant upward trend in student achievement following the introduction of a new recognition for students earning straight A’s.
This specific distinction, known as “Principal’s Honor Roll,” was established to recognize students who meet a higher academic threshold than the traditional honor roll. Data from the current school year shows a consistent increase in the number of students meeting this standard each quarter: 12 students were recognized in Quarter 1, 25 in Quarter 2, and 40 in Quarter 3.
