Lansdowne, PA – February 10, 2026
The first half of the academic year at Penn Wood Ninth Grade Academy has been defined by a significant increase in student achievement. During the first quarter, 12 students earned placement on the Principal’s Honor Roll by achieving straight A’s. By the conclusion of the second quarter, that figure doubled, with 24 students reaching the same milestone.
In addition to the straight-A honorees, 13 students earned nearly perfect marks, finishing the term with all A’s and a single B. These statistics indicate a growing commitment to academic excellence within the freshman class.
