The Penn Wood High School Boys’ Indoor Track Team is off to an incredible start this season, with several athletes achieving early state and national qualifying times. These achievements showcase the team’s dedication, talent, and competitive spirit as they aim for excellence on the track.

State Qualifiers:

Ricky Mason clocked a state-standard time of 1:59.95 in the 800m run.

4x800m Relay Team
The team of Ricky Mason, Jonah Boykai, David Gayflor, and Josh Esteris delivered a stellar performance, finishing with a state-standard time of 8:19.95.

National Qualifiers:

4x400m Relay Team 
The team of David Gayflor, Ricky Mason, Tawfeeq Fountain, and Jonah Boykai qualified for nationals with an impressive time of 3:27.22. This time ranks as the 29th best in the United States and the 2nd best in Pennsylvania, underscoring their status on a national level.

The Penn Wood community is incredibly proud of these young athletes and their coaches for their hard work and achievements. We look forward to more amazing performances as the season progresses.
