DCIU and OIDD to Host Secondary Transition Fairs

The Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU), in collaboration with the Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disability (OIDD), will host two Secondary Transition Fairs this April. These events are designed to provide resources and guidance for students with disabilities as they navigate the transition from high school to adulthood. Both sessions will be held at DCIU Morton, located at 200 Yale Ave, Morton, PA 19070.

Event Schedule 
The fairs are divided into two distinct sessions to address the specific needs of families and educational professionals:

Parent and Caregiver Session
Tuesday, April 7, 2026
5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
This evening session offers parents and caregivers the opportunity to connect with service providers and learn about post-secondary options, including employment, education, and community living.

Student and Educator Session
Wednesday, April 8, 2026
9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
This daytime event is tailored for school administrators, teachers, and support staff to attend alongside their students. It provides a structured environment for students to explore available resources directly.
