DCIU Parent Training: Support Student Success

The Right to Education Local Task Force, in partnership with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU), will host a virtual parent training workshop titled “Executive Function: Strategies to Support Student Success” on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Presented by Rebecca Sitman, Teaching and Learning Specialist, this interactive session will examine how executive functioning skills influence a student’s ability to plan, organize materials, manage time, stay focused, and complete daily tasks. Parents, guardians, and caregivers will receive practical strategies to help children build consistent routines, foster independence, and strengthen essential skills for success both at home and in the classroom.
