Lansdowne, PA – June 20, 2025
Dear William Penn School District Families,
Another school year has come to a close, and with it, an opportunity to pause and reflect on all that we’ve accomplished together. Our students have grown in ways both big and small, thanks to the strength of our entire school community working together to support them. I’m deeply grateful for all you’ve done to help make that possible.
This morning, we had the honor of celebrating the Penn Wood High School Class of 2025 at Commencement. I was proud to stand with our graduates on stage as they received their diplomas. Hearing from our student speakers and experiencing the energy in the arena was a moving reminder of the incredible things our young people can achieve when we come together to support them.
Here are a few important reminders and resources to keep in mind as we head into the summer break.
Stay Connected: Visit our district website at williampennsd.org throughout the summer for updates and announcements.
WPSD Feeding Kids Program: Free breakfast and lunch available for children ages 18 and under. Please see the schedule on our website here.

Mark your calendar! Our Back to School Kickoff will take place on Wednesday, August 27th from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Penn Wood Middle School. We hope to see you there!
On behalf of the entire William Penn School District, I wish you a safe, happy, and relaxing summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back this fall, ready for another year of learning and growth.
Warm regards,
Dr. Becoats
