The William Penn School District is looking forward to welcoming all registered students to this summer’s Extended School Year (ESY) Program. ESY provides eligible students with continued academic support and learning opportunities during the summer months in a structured and engaging environment. All ESY programs will be held at Aldan Elementary School. Please see the program calendar here.
Program Schedule
- Elementary Programs (Grades K-6)
Student Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Secondary Programs (Grades 7-12)
Student Hours: 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Students will attend ESY classrooms based on the grade level they completed during the 2025-2026 school year. For example, a student who completed 6th grade this school year will attend a 6th grade ESY classroom.
Transportation Information
- Transportation has been arranged for all students registered for ESY.
- Families with questions regarding transportation schedules should contact Kelly Evans at kvevans@wpsd.k12.pa.us.
ESY Leadership and Contacts
Kelly Evans will continue to serve as the ESY Coordinator throughout the summer.

Important Calendar Reminder
Please note that the ESY Program will be closed on Wednesday, July 9, for the district’s observance of the Independence Day holiday.
