Operations Department Shares 2025-26 Year in Review

Lansdowne, PA – June 8, 2026

From maintaining school buildings and keeping buses running on time to supporting technology, safety, food services, and major construction projects, the William Penn School District’s Operations Department plays a critical role in the daily experience of students and staff.

At the June Property Committee meeting, district leaders highlighted accomplishments across facilities and maintenance, transportation, school safety, technology, food services, human resources, and grant development. Among the year’s notable achievements were continued progress on the Ninth Grade Academy renovation project, preparations for the district’s electric school bus program, substantial improvements in technology response times, and the successful pursuit of grant funding to support district initiatives.

The annual review also provided an opportunity to recognize the employees whose dedication and expertise help keep the William Penn School District running each day while advancing projects that will benefit students, staff, and families for years to come.
