Lansdowne, PA – June 3, 2026
On June 2, William Penn School District Superintendent Dr. Eric J. Becoats joined education leaders from across Pennsylvania for a PA Schools Work webinar discussing their new report, The Impact of Pennsylvania’s Adequacy Supplement.
The webinar focused on how adequacy funding is helping school districts strengthen instruction, expand student supports, improve student well-being, and reduce pressure on local property taxes. Dr. Becoats shared how these investments are making a difference for William Penn School District students and schools while emphasizing the importance of sustained funding to support continued student growth and success.
The discussion also highlighted the need for continued investment in public education as school districts across the Commonwealth work to address rising operational costs, increasing student needs, and longstanding funding challenges.
