Safe-time Summer Program at Walnut Street Elementary

Walnut Elementary School is a host site for the Safe-time Summer Program! This fun and enriching program is for students entering grades 4-6, with limited spots available for those entering third grade in the fall. It is offered through the PCCD grant in partnership with Foundations.

Program Details:
Days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Dates: June 30 – July 22, 2026
Location: Walnut Street Elementary School

Important Notes:
Students who are enrolled in a district-sponsored summer program are not eligible to participate in this program.
Transportation will not be provided. Families are responsible for drop-off and pick-up.

The summer program focus is Career Technical Education, where students will explore four exciting CTE pathways. The School of Culinary Arts focuses on creating, cooking, and exploring careers. The School of Aviation & Engineering focuses on designing, building, and taking flight. The School of Music & Digital Media focuses on creating, performing, and telling your story. The School of Medicine & Health Sciences focuses on discovering, caring, and making a difference. The core focus areas include hands-on learning, teamwork, leadership, character building, and being future ready.

The program is for students in grades 4 to 6, as well as 10 to 20 third grade students, with limited spots available. Graphic text on the flyer reads, "Explore Today. Lead Tomorrow."
