I am writing to invite you to attend our upcoming Budget & Finance Committee Meeting this Thursday, April 23, 2026.

As we continue to develop the 2026–2027 school year budget, we remain focused on balancing the needs of our students with the financial realities facing our district. Like many school districts, we are navigating rising costs while working to maintain the programs, services, and staffing that support student success.

At this point in the process, our budget reflects both progress and ongoing challenges. We are working to restore critical positions, if possible, and invest in areas that directly impact teaching and learning, while also carefully managing expenditures and considering the long-term sustainability of our decisions.

This meeting is an important opportunity for our community to stay informed, hear directly from district leadership, and better understand the priorities and considerations shaping our budget. We encourage all families, staff, and community members to attend, listen, and be part of the conversation.
