Lansdowne, PA – October 19, 2026

Dear William Penn School District Community,

The in-person community focus group associated with the superintendent search, originally scheduled for Monday, October 19, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., has been rescheduled and will no longer take place prior to the Board Committee of the Whole meeting this evening.

We remain committed to providing meaningful opportunities for community input throughout the superintendent search process. Feedback gathered through stakeholder focus groups has already provided valuable insight that is helping inform the superintendent leadership profile and guide the next phases of the search.

Additional information regarding the rescheduled community focus group, including the new date, time, and location, will be shared as soon as it is available. In addition, a community survey will be made available later this week, providing another opportunity for stakeholders to share their perspectives and priorities for the district’s next superintendent.

Thank you for your understanding and continued engagement in this important process.

Sincerely,

Board of School Directors
William Penn School District
