Lansdowne, PA – October 29, 2026
Dear William Penn School District Community,
Throughout the superintendent search process, students, staff, families, and community members have provided valuable feedback that is helping to inform the Board’s work as it identifies the district’s next leader.
To provide an additional opportunity for community participation, the Board of School Directors invites interested community members to attend an in-person superintendent search focus group:
Thursday, November 5, 2026
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Penn Wood High School Auditorium
This facilitated discussion will provide community members with an opportunity to share their perspectives on the opportunities, challenges, and priorities they would like the district’s next superintendent to address.
To assist with planning and room setup, please RSVP using the form linked below:
The focus group will be facilitated by representatives from the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU). To encourage open dialogue, Board members and district administrators will not participate in the discussion. Feedback will be summarized and shared with the Board in aggregate form.
We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the search process thus far, whether through a focus group, survey response, or other engagement opportunity. We hope you will consider joining us on November 5 as we continue gathering community input to help shape the future of the William Penn School District. We also encourage you to complete the survey linked here to provide your feedback.
Thank you for your time and participation.
Sincerely,
William Penn School District
Board of School Directors
