Theta Gamma Tau Sorority, Inc. is now accepting applications for the Dr. Kim Evans-Johnson Scholarship, an initiative established to support the next generation of female educators within the Class of 2026. The scholarship honors the professional contributions of Dr. Kim Evans-Johnson, the current principal of Bell Avenue Elementary School.

The scholarship recognizes future female educators dedicated to the principles of diversity and inclusion. To be considered for one of the four available awards, applicants must demonstrate academic achievement and a clear passion for shaping the future of education. Additionally, candidates must have completed at least 5 hours of documented community service.

Eligible students should note the following timeline for the 2026 application cycle:

Application Deadline: April 15, 2026
Notification of Results: May 1, 2026
