Lansdowne, PA – February 29, 2024

The William Penn School District is thrilled to announce the winners of its Employee of the Quarter awards for the second quarter of the 2023-2024 school year!

Forty-two outstanding staff members were nominated by their colleagues, highlighting the dedication and hard work present across the district. A randomly selected committee reviewed and scored the nominations, ultimately selecting the four individuals who consistently went above and beyond.

Each winner received a personalized, engraved plaque and a $50 Amazon gift card, presented by Dr. Becoats, the district superintendent, in a heartwarming ceremony.

The district extends its sincerest congratulations to the following Employee of the Quarter honorees:

• Carmalita Womack: Accounts Payable Assistant, Business Office
• April Jamieson: Building Secretary, Ardmore Ave ES
• Jennifer Kurko: 4th Grade Teacher, Bell Ave ES
• Casey Freiling: 5th Grade Teacher, Park Lane ES
• John Kea: Math Teacher, PLC
