As the 2025–2026 academic year draws to a close, the William Penn School District is buzzing with energy. Across every grade level, schools are hosting a variety of field trips, award ceremonies, family celebrations, and milestone promotional events to mark the achievements of our students.

Here is a comprehensive look at the upcoming activities taking place across the district through the end of the school year.

Penn Wood High School
For the Class of 2026, the final weeks of high school are filled with long-standing traditions and celebratory events leading up to commencement:

• Academic & Activities Awards: May 28 at 6:00 p.m.
• Senior Prom: May 31 at 7:00 p.m.
• Honors Breakfast: June 2 and June 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.
• Athletic Awards: June 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Senior Barbecue: June 8 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Graduation Practice: June 9 and June 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Commencement Ceremony: June 11 at 6:00 p.m. at Neumann University.

Ninth Grade Academy and Middle School Highlights
The Ninth Grade Academy and Penn Wood Middle School (PWMS) are wrapping up the year with a mix of academic recognitions and events:
