Lansdowne, PA – September 4, 2023

Due to the forecasted excessive heat and our district not having 100 percent air-conditioned school buildings, WPSD will operate on a half-day bell schedule on Wednesday, September 6 through Friday, September 8, 2023.

The dismissal times are as follows:

Penn Wood High School-GAC – 11:45 a.m.
Penn Wood Ninth Grade Academy – 11:45 a.m.
Penn Wood Middle School – 12:15 p.m.
ALL Elementary Schools – 12:58 p.m.
