Principal’s Message

Please allow me to introduce myself as the new, PROUD, principal at Penn Wood High School, Green Ave Campus (PWHS-GAC)! I cannot tell you how excited I am to work with all of you in support of a one of a kind educational opportunity that only the William Penn School District (WPSD) can offer. The staff at PWHS-GAC are committed to providing you all with a terrific school year. Our focus is to implement the district vision in cultivating students to be college and/or career ready. We offer state of the art courses and experiences to provide every student with the most well rounded education possible.

This will be my 20th year in education. I was a High School Math teacher for 15 years before entering administration the last five years. Most recently I was an assistant principal in the School District of Philadelphia as well as an instructional and district level academic coach tasked to improve mathematics instruction in a network of as many as 21 different schools from elementary, middle, and high school levels. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics Education at Millersville University and my Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership at Neumann University. I became a teacher because I wanted to build strong, supportive relationships with my students and help guide them to success in anything they worked hard in achieving. When the work day is done, I love to spend time coaching my two boys, throwing a tennis ball to my golden retriever, Rosie, and spending quality time with my wife of 15 years. I cannot wait to roll up my sleeves and get started!

I truly appreciate the opportunity to serve you!
